ONE
Question – What can you tell us about registration?
Answer - Registration starts at 3 PM on Saturday at YMCA. You can register your students and then we pass out room keys after dinner. The convention ends with lunch.
TWO
Question – What can you tell us about bedding?
Answer – The bedding IS provided once you are at YC19! This is why it takes a while for us to get the keys for our rooms.
THREE
Question – What can you tell us about the meals offered during YC19?
Answer – All of the meals are provided as long as you eat on campus.
If you make arrangements with the YMCA for bag lunches please know this.
FOUR
Question – What can you tell us about departure details as the convention ends?
Answer – Before you go to the final session, you need to be packed and ready to depart
FIVE
Question - What can you tell us about the packing list?
Answer - The bedding noted in the packing list pertains to your travel arrangements. At the YMCA the bedding is provided. If you are sleeping on the floor of a church then you will need those items. If you are in a hotel then you won't. Bedding includes the blankets sheets pillows and even the towels.
SIX
Question – Is there help for youth leaders during youth group breakout sessions?
Answer - It's helpful for a leader to take notes and to write down questions the speaker asks and then repeat them in smaller groups. As well, we get to spend a little time with the speakers each morning to hear from them on where they are going.
SEVEN
Question - Are there any churches willing to take us in for a night?
Answer – One might be the church in Arvada
EIGHT
Question - Do us Canadians need travel health insurance while down there for YC? For example, on the registration form, would Canadians put their current health-insurance provider from here in Canada, or does it require US travel insurance?
Answer – YC19 does not provide insurance for anyone. Please check with your provider to see if you are insured.
NINE
Question - Will there be any shuttle service from Denver for those flying in?
Answer - No. We don't provide any transportation.
TEN
Question - Will there be a possibility for a sign language interpreter?
Answer – If there is need for one, please let us know upon registration.
ELEVEN
Question - Will there be extra t-shirts at YC19 for those who don't order in advance?
Answer – Each student is given one with their registration and we may have extras but we cannot guarantee that.
TWELVE
Question – Do we need to sign up for the recreation options before hand or is all that included with our registration for the convention? For example, if one of my youth wanted to go horseback riding, do I need to set that up and pay for that separate or is that included and we sign up when we get there?
Answer - Yes and No. If it's swimming, dodgeball, basketball than no. If it's horseback riding or something that YMCA of the Rockies provides you might want to try to sign up beforehand.

If you make arrangements with the YMCA for bag lunches please know this.
- It is not included in your fee.
- They will charge you and it is cheaper to eat at McDonalds.
- YC19 (or the CLB) will not cover the cost of bag lunches.
- If we get the charge we will charge it back to your church.
- Our best suggestion is that you stay for lunch but if you have to leave early, that you eat on the road.
